A nanny camera is a hidden still or video camera used to film nannies and
babysitters without their knowledge. We call those cameras "hidden"
because they are not visible to the person who is being filmed, or
is disguised as or inside another object. Nanny cameras are more and more
popular for preventing nannies from abusing children, house surveillance, and
they can be integrated into objects such as smoke detectors, toys, radios,
clocks, motion detectors, plants, and cellphones. Also nanny cams can be

There are two types of nanny cam - wired or wireless. Wired nanny camera
can be connected to a TV, VCR, or DVR, and a wireless nanny camera can transmit
a video signal to a receiver but within a small radius.
