This little fondue pot is perfect! It was so cheap that I waited for the other shoe to drop but I read a review of it that mentioned that it is smallness was really a good thing because how much fondue do you typically need? I had a little fondue party with about eight people and we had chocolate in one and cheese in another and they were perfect. They kept the fondue warm and the heat was from just the little tea light. A great purchase. I got some extra for gifts!

This fondue pot is really cute! Its just the perfect size for only some people, and you do not need much fondue in it to make it deep enough to dip. Be sure to stir it frequently like the directions or else it’ll burn. You may also take it off the stand and use it as a candy dish! I have two of these and I adore them.

This is a small fondue pot. At 1st glance you’d think it was too small but for chocolate it is really the perfect size. It does not take too much to fill it up. It does use a candle so you will have to melt the chocolate in advance , then pour into this fondue pot, the candle will keep it warm enough for a short time. It does come with four forks that have Hershey’s written on the side.

I really gave one of these to our school fundraiser. They auction off a chocolate basket basically a big basket filled with chocolate items and I included this to go with all the bags of chocolate that the other parents had donated. They do it by grade, each grade has a different kind of basket. It raises some number of thousand dollars.

Anyway, this fondue pot is worth it and worked perfectly. I like it better than the Chocolatiere Electric Chocolate Melting Pot.

I love kitchen “things” that make assorted cooking actions easier. This mat surely does that. A perfect size, if you are messing with pie crust or bread dough or cookie dough or, well, whatever. The big bonus as far as I am worried is that when I lay it down on the work surface it STAYS there. No more slipping and sliding around while I am rolling out dough. In spite of the mat’s capability to get a grip on things, its working surface is slick enough to let you to get by with less flour to keep dough from sticking. Cleanup couldn’t be easier and storage is as simple as rolling up the mat and sticking it in a drawer.

Rolling out difficult pastry like pie crust isn’t so bad on a regular counter top, but this mat improves the experience enough to be well worth the price. If you own this threaded kind of silicon mat for baking, which I also greatly recommend, you know exactly what to expect. This mat is just a big variant. Just for fun, I tried to stick it in the oven and found it was too big, though it may be used for that function in a commercial size oven. But, its function is to create a non stick work surface that’s easy to clean up, and it does that with style. The size is perfect for most projects, as well as pretty big pastry, and will most likely be nearly oversized for candy making. If you do not need something this big or do not have room for it, the standard silicone cooking mat from this brand or another Exopat, Silpat, etc. Should be a better fit.

As others mentioned, the tacky nature of the mat keeps it from skidding, while the nonstick nature lets the use of less flour. The only real caveat is that it can not be used with a knife, though a pastry knife hasn’t harmed mine. Otherwise, this is the ideal tool for common kitchen tasks and I love using it.
